Vacuum Forming

Vacuum Forming

Vacuum Forming is a simple process that uses heat to soften a plastic sheet and then vacuums it down tightly against a pattern or mold. The plastic quickly cools and retains the molded shape. The mold or pattern can be made from wood, plaster, epoxy, resin, aluminum, plastic, and many other materials or a combination of materials.

Our patented mold process gives us the ability to produce quality production tools at the fraction of the cost of aluminum tools.

Vacuum Forming is ideal in applications where sharp outside details are not required, however raised letters, logos and other decorative features can be implemented in initial mold design to produce a unique appearance.
